BUMI Group (KPC & Arutmin), Ranked Highest in Indonesia for PNBP (Royalty) in 2017 – Rp 9.1 Trillion
PT BUMI Resources Tbk (“BUMI”) through its business units PT Kaltim Prima Coal (“KPC”) and PT Arutmin Indonesia (“Arutmin”) received awards at the Indonesian Mining Association Awards 2018.
KPC was conferred 2 awards, viz. as:
The largest payer of Non-Tax State Revenue for 2017
Coal Miner with Best Environmental Management for 2017
On the same occasion, Arutmin earned an award as;
Best Coal Miner that Makes efforts to Use Domestic Products 2017
The awards were presented by Director General of Mineral and Coal (Minerba), Ministry of Energy and Mineral (ESDM) of the Republic of Indonesia, Bambang Gatot Ariyono at IMA Awards 2018 at Ballroom of JS Luwansa Hotel, Jakarta, Friday, 14 Dec’18. This award presentation ceremony was also attended by Minister of Energy and Mineral of the Republic of Indonesia, Ignasius Jonan, officials from the Ministry of ESDM and representatives of mining companies belonging to IMA.
Bumi Group (KPC & Arutmin) is again Indonesia’s Highest PNBP Tax Payer in 2017 with a combined contribution from KPC & Arutmin of Rp 9.1 Trillion – more than double to 4 times higher than the other ranked players.
President Director of Bumi Resources Tbk, and KPC, Saptari Hoedaja expressed satisfaction for the awards conferred at the IMA Awards 2018. “These awards are proof that BUMI and its business units are committed in adhering to prevailing laws and regulations in Indonesia. The Group is a significant contributor to the national exchequer – the highest in Indonesia for royalty, and export foreign exchange earned, is amongst the top 31 corporate tax payers in Indonesia – and we focus on maximizing use of domestic products”, said Saptari.
