BUMI's decision in 2010 to merge all non-coal mineral mining assets under PT Bumi Resources Minerals Tbk (“BRMS”) reflects a strategy that focuses on developing assets into the commercial production stage.
BRMS was listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange in December 2010 and is currently under independent management which focuses on developing these assets to production.
In June 2017, BRMS succeeded in issuing new shares thereby increasing the company's equity and reducing its debt burden (debt to equity ratio improved from 0.6 to 0.3) each of US $ 232 million. At present BUMI has 20.09% ownership in BRMS.

Citra Palu Minerals : Gold (in the production stage)
Dairi Prima Mineral : Zinc and lead (in construction stage)
Gorontalo Minerals : Copper and Gold (in construction stage)
Linge Mineral Resources : Gold (in exploration stage)
Suma Heksa Sinergi : Gold (in construction stage)
PT Citra Palu Minerals (“CPM”)
BRMS holds 96.97% of the shares in CPM, which holds the Contract of Work rights over a mining concession spanning 85,180 hectares consisting of 5 (five) separate blocks in Central Sulawesi and South Sulawesi, of which the Poboya gold prospects is the most promising. CPM’s construction & production permit was approved in November 2017 with 3 years construction period and 30 year production period (until 2050).
By the end of 2023, CPM has discovered additional mineral reserves and resources that have been disclosed, resulting in a total mineral resource at Poboya reaching 42.7 million tons of ore, with a gold content of 2.6 g/ton Au, and total mineral reserves of 31.5 million tons of ore with a gold content of 2.4 g/ton Au.
PT Dairi Prima Mineral (“DPM”)
BRMS owns 49% of the shares in DPM which is a zinc and lead project in North Sumatra. The remaining 51% stake in DPM is owned by China Nonferrous Metal Industry’s Foreign Engineering & Construction Co. Ltd (“NFC China”).
DPM’s Anjing Hitam and Lae Jahe Projects have 11 million tones of ore reserves, and it has one of the highest grade of Zinc deposit in the world (11.5% Zn ,6.8% Pb).
DPM’s Contract of Work is located in North Sumatra and is proposed to be developed as an underground mining operation (mining concession size of 24,636 Ha).
DPM’s Production permit was approved in December 2017 with 30 year production period (until 2047).
PT Gorontalo Minerals (“GM”)
BRMS owns 80% of the shares in GM, a copper and gold concession. The remaining 20% stake is owned by PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (ANTM). GM has Contract of Work rights to a 24,995 hectare mining concession located in the Bone Bolango Regency (Gorontalo, Sulawesi, Indonesia).
GM currently is doing exploration works in the Sungai Mak and Cabang Kiri sites and has reported its JORC Resource Estimate of 392 million Ton (0.49% Cu and 0.43 g/t Au) from the Sungai Mak, Cabang Kiri, Kayu Bulan, and Motomboto Sites.
GM’s construction & Production permit was approved in February 2019 for 3 year construction period and 30 year production period (until 2052).
Linge Mineral Resources (“LMR”)
BRMS holds 60% of the shares in LMR, which holds a Mining Business License (“IUP”) in Linge, Abong covering an area of 36,420 hectares in Aceh Province. Currently, LMR is still awaiting approval for Production Operation Permit from the Indonesian government.
Project development includes : drilling activities, electromagnetic survey, metallurgical test, mining design work, and the approved Feasibility Study.
PT Suma Heksa Sinergi (“SHS”)
BRMS holds 80% of the shares in SHS (Kerta project), which holds an IUP covering an area of 7,291 hectares in Banten Province. SHS has obtained a Production Operation Permit from the Indonesian government for 20 years, which expires in 2039.
