Jakarta, 16 March 2018
PT BUMI Resources Tbk. through its business unit PT Kaltim Prima Coal (KPC) received the prestigious Appreciation Award as one of the 31 Largest Tax Payers in Indonesia in a ceremony organized by Regional Office of Directorate General of Taxes of Large Taxpayers at the Auditorium of Dr. K.R.T Radjiman Wedyodingrat Building, Jalan Jenderal Sudirman Jakarta on 13 March 2018. This award was conferred directly by Finance Minister, Ibu Sri Mulyani Indrawati and received by Saptari Hoedaja, President Director of PT BUMI Resources Tbk. and PT Kaltim Prima Coal (KPC).
Finance Minister, Ibu Sri Mulyani stated that “in 2018 the target Regional Office of Directorate General of Taxes of Large Taxpayers is Rp 432.37 trillion, which means 19.54 percent growth compared to the realization in 2017 and will support 30.33 percent of the national target of Rp 1.424 trillion”, said the Finance Minister.

This award is a form of government appreciation through Directorate General of Taxation (DGT) on tax payer contribution in achieving State revenue target through DGT Office of Large Taxpayer in 2017. The award was given exclusively to 31 of Indonesia’s largest taxpayers.

Prior to receiving the award as abiding and compliant large taxpayer, PT Kaltim Prima Coal also received an award as the best export foreign exchange contributor in 2017 and the largest royalty payer in Indonesia the category of non-oil and gas companies, with the largest contribution to Non-Tax Revenue for Indonesia’s State Budget.
