PT Arutmin Indonesia (“Arutmin”) operates in a concession area of 34,207 hectares in Block 6 Kalimantan, which covers a narrow strip of land in the southeast of Kalimantan and the northern tip of Laut Island.
Arutmin manages 6 (six) open cut coal mines namely Senakin, Satui, Mulia/Jumbang, Sarongga, Asamasam and Kintap. All mines are strategically located near Arutmin’s port facility - the North Pulau Laut Coal Terminal (NPLCT) located on the north coast of Laut Island.
In 2024, total coal production at Arutmin’s mines reached 19.5 million tons, a decrease of 17.9% compared to the production of 23.8 million tons in 2023. Currently, Arutmin operates under an IUPK license valid for 10 years until November 2, 2030.
